PHOBIAS
A - B - C

StoneCuban compiled this list through much googling. NOTE:"The online phobia list is an Alphabet of terror. Below are just half of the named fears."

We all experience and or suffer mildly or harshly from one or different phobias. People confront them on a daily basis but yet they confront them and move on. Some don't know it yet or want to believe it but something in thier presence is actually obstructing their train of thought, thus causing more stress.

Two people can go through the exact same traumatic event, but the highly emotionally sensitive person is more vulnerable to the fear. Secondhand fears, watching Mom or Dad react with exaggerated terror to a cockroach, spider or a drop of blood, may play a role to many children. Genetics are not always the case with fears. A childhood trauma, a house fire, a dog bite, is sometime more than enough to seize the brain's attention and serve as a repository for future fears.

Like I've mentioned at the beginning of this thread, We all suffer at one point in time from fear. Till this day if a spider or cockroach approach me unannounced, I will hurdle across the room and back up against a wall. But it stops there, realizing whos the toughess, I simply dispose of the small legged beast. OK, I got spooked by an insect. It can be OK to fear but its NOT OK to live in fear as it would deteriorate your once calm conscience into a battle zone. If you can't conquer a fear to proceed foward, at least hurdle over it, but don't run from it. If you ever feel that a fear you've yet to overcome is obstructing or interferring with your daily life, Please seek some therapy or a shrink. Only you can make that change in your life.
